Crossroads Canton

Crossroads Youth

For All Students in 6th – 12th Grade

The vision for Crossroads Youth Ministry is to be a community of students that come together to take steps of growing in their faith in Jesus Christ.

The mission of Crossroads Youth Ministry is for our students to be active and healthy members of the Body of Christ.

The goal of Crossroads Youth Ministry is that our students would be equipped and launched into their next stage of life as a fully trained disciple of Jesus Christ.

“Overall, we want students to know that the church is something that they are a part of and play a vital role in; not another activity that they do.”

The theme verse of our youth ministry comes from Psalm 62:1-2, “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.”

About the youth pastor:

“My name is Cole Sullivan, and I have been at Crossroads since 2020. My wife, Courtney, and I both graduated from Canton a year apart in 2015 & 2016. I went on to graduate from Texas State University and Courtney from Texas Tech University. God called us together back in Canton, and we have been serving at Crossroads ever since! My heart goes out to the families in Van Zandt County as we seek to partner with parents to help equip and encourage teenagers to follow Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior!”

Beginning in 1982, Dr. Robinson has served churches in New Mexico and Texas for over 34 years. His life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Lean not unto your own understanding; In all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” Dr. Robinson’s passion is to be part of a team seeking to lead Crossroads to be a congregation committed to making disciples who in turn make disciples.

Taylor serves as Associate Pastor as well as the leader of our LifeGroup and Discipleship ministries. He is the husband of Rebecca and father of Annie, John Knox, and Addie. His life-verse is 1 Chronicles 16:11, “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” It is his hope for Crossroads that the church grow and shine Christ’s light contagiously; that everyone who encounters us will know they have encountered Christ in us and be better for it. It is Taylor’s hope that together our church will treasure and put to active use the spiritual gifts, hearts, abilities, personalities, and experiences God has brought together here for His glory; that everything we are together and individually will reflect His glory to each other as well as those outside our fellowship.
