Crossroads Church Summer Internship

Grow in Christ. Discover Your Calling. Serve with Purpose.

The Crossroads Church Summer Internship is an eleven-week, discipleship-focused ministry experience for students and young adults who want to grow spiritually while serving in meaningful, hands-on ministry. This program is designed to deepen your walk with Jesus, develop leadership skills and ministry relationships, and help you explore God’s calling on your life.

More than a summer job, this internship is a season of intentional spiritual growth and service. Interns serve alongside church staff and ministry leaders while participating in structured discipleship and mentorship. Throughout the summer, you’ll gain practical ministry experience and be challenged to grow in humility, leadership, and Christlike character.

Interns may serve in a variety of ministry areas, including:

  • Children’s Ministry
  • Student Ministry (Junior High or High School)
  • Worship & Production (including Hispanic Worship)
  • Social Media and Media Communications
  • Administrative & Support Ministries

We seek to place interns where their spiritual gifts, passions, and abilities align with the needs of the church.

This program is ideal for individuals who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, desire to grow spiritually, and are exploring a potential call to full-time ministry—or simply want to invest their summer in meaningful kingdom work. A commitment to biblical character and servant leadership is essential.

Because interns publicly represent Christ and our church, participants must commit to personal holiness, sexual purity, abstaining from alcohol and controlled substances, and maintaining a focused ministry mindset throughout the internship.

If you’re ready to grow in your faith and serve with purpose, we invite you to apply. The deadline for this year’s summer internship applications is May 1, 2026. We look forward to seeing how God uses this summer to shape your life and ministry.

Beginning in 1982, Dr. Robinson has served churches in New Mexico and Texas for over 34 years. His life verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Lean not unto your own understanding; In all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.” Dr. Robinson’s passion is to be part of a team seeking to lead Crossroads to be a congregation committed to making disciples who in turn make disciples.

Taylor serves as Associate Pastor as well as the leader of our LifeGroup and Discipleship ministries. He is the husband of Rebecca and father of Annie, John Knox, and Addie. His life-verse is 1 Chronicles 16:11, “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” It is his hope for Crossroads that the church grow and shine Christ’s light contagiously; that everyone who encounters us will know they have encountered Christ in us and be better for it. It is Taylor’s hope that together our church will treasure and put to active use the spiritual gifts, hearts, abilities, personalities, and experiences God has brought together here for His glory; that everything we are together and individually will reflect His glory to each other as well as those outside our fellowship.
