Our Heart & Purpose
Just Show Up & Love
Here at Crossroads, we are known for a very familiar motto. You will often here us say, “Just show up and love”. Many people have been injured by religious organizations that, for whatever reason, have related to people in anger or judgment. Our hope is to see a church that is characterized by the love of Christ. We’ve been forgiven much, and therefore seek to welcome others with the grace that has been shown to us.
Making Disciples
Our vision is clear. We seek to make disciples who will then make more disciples. Sounds simplistic, but it is what we are called to do! Jesus was very clear on what the disciples were called to do. We see this instruction in Matthew 28:18-20.
What to Expect
Our corporate worship experiences are driven by relevant teaching and application of the scriptures to our everyday life. You can expect a one hour service which includes contemporary music, testimonies, preaching/teaching and great fellowship and creative presentations of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The environment is casual so come as you feel comfortable.
Acts 1:8
Currently we have organized our missions strategy into four categories based on Acts 1:8. Jerusalem represents our own county and community. We are certainly called not just to reach Canton, but to also minister to all of Van Zandt County. Here at Crossroads we see people from all of our surrounding cities, and we love that they have found a church home with us.
